FAQ

What does this mean?

For most users, nothing will change. You can post, modify, do whatever you did before this policy was introduced. The content you post, however, will always remain freely available to everyone, provided they keep to the terms of the GFDL.

Why do I have to agree to this policy?

According to the terms agreed at the Berne convention, all artistic material is automatically copyrighted. This creates problems for communities working on a general project, however, as someone can put claim to these copyrights and thus be able to destroy a (large) part of a community. Therefore, licenses such as the GFDL have been created, to protect the community from such things happening. Our policy is similar to the one on Wikipedia uses, so for a more detailed explanation to the how and why, please read this article.

So, what does this "GNU Free Documentation License" entitle me to?

The GFDL gives everyone the right to use, modify and redistribute the work, provided they give credit to the original author of a work and they release modified works under the same GFDL License.

What if I don't agree with this policy?

To be fairly honest, if you do not agree, you will not be able to contribute to this site. We do not have the time or resources to maintain multiple licenses, so we will also not accept contributions with other licenses.
