The copperheart chant

This is a chant sung by the crew of the copperheart. Apart from the starting and two ending couplets every crewmember had it's own couplet chanted by him or her. One of the first tasks a new gangpressed crewmember recieved was comming up with and learning a new couplet to this chant so the rest of the crew could get to know them quickly during the boring work of sailing this ship.

Ref; -chanted by all-

Whats that above the horizon?
Loaded with laugther, light and song.
Whats that above the horizon?
It's the copperheart, swift and strong.

Couplet1; - chanted by all-

The copperheart is strong and swift.
Sailing about, never adrift.
Her legs are stout, she looks so fierce.
She has served us well, for many years.

Repeat Ref;

Example Couplet; -chanted by Copperbreath-

My captain breath, power of kings.
To turn copper into living things.
Our precious angel I now serve.
With vile cunning and steely nerve.

Repeat Ref;

Example Couplet; -chanted by Copperlocks-

With shield and dagger, tooth and claw.
I rather eats the elven raw.
Chaos I love, order I box.
Beware for I am Copperlocks.

Repeat Ref;

Outro; -chanted by all.-

The tales of us, circle the sea.
But we do not, to some decree.
For we sail on sand on dune and rock.
Your not safe on land, for our amok.

Now you know about our crew.
So run away, or you'll be stew.
For as soon as we shall stop this talk.
A plank is what we'll make you walk.
