The Fields of the Others are the plains and hills to the south of the Gataur's Teeth mountain range in Utgard . They are named after one of the first encounters the Tellurians had with the trolls , who were far more explorative and had already settled in these parts. This encounter would also be one of the encounters that would lead to the Spirit War .
