The wood goat song

A Tellurian song about the formation of the wood goat command.

It sings of Gortuf and her daughter Garrilla (Producer and matron of the wood goat clan) and has been written by the current commander of wood goat command Orstof, son of Garrila.

It tells the story of how Gortuf was saved by the goat twice in her life, once while ravelling trough the mountains and once in the form of a small wooden statue.

It has since been adopted by the entire command.

The wood goat command:

Verse 1:

Where blood runs like rivers
into the green flow,
you'll find the wood goat
and Asgard brought low.
The Utgard alliance
alive in our hearts.
We fight and they die,
we all do our parts.

Chorus:

For we are the wood goat command.
Our bodies are shielding this land.
They never will cross the green sea.
For the wood goat command are we.

Verse 2:

We all know the stories
forever they live.
She was lost in white peaks,
near fell of a cliff.
A goat found her broken
she clung to his hair.
That day she had died,
if not for his care.

Chorus:

For we are the wood goat command.
Our bodies are shielding this land.
They never will cross the green sea.
For the wood goat command are we.

Verse 3:

She made a wood token,
wore it on her chest.
A blade struck the goat
an assassin's pest.
Her daughter in Minfort,
mother to us all,
Took the goat as a mark,
lifting proud and tall.

Chorus:

For we are the wood goat command.
Our bodies are shielding this land.
They never will cross the green sea.
For the wood goat command are we. (x3)
