General

The Nymph are one of the fifteen standard races .

Nymph are a race of beautiful humanoids with feathers growing on their heads. They are a very social race driven by their nature to find a mate. When producing offspring this always results in a full-blooded nymph. A nymphs natural lifespan is about 120 years.

Physical appearance

Nymph
Nymph

Nymhps have approximately the same build as humans but always look better than average.

Feathers grow from their heads next to the hair that grows on most humanoids.

Some may have slightly pointed ears, a vaguely green skin or other characteristics of their interracial heritage.

Biology

Nymph

Nymphs cannot reproduce unless they are in love. Therefore nymphs are very biologically driven to search and find love.

What passes for "love" to a nymph is as varied as their headdresses. Some know this feeling within a day other can take up to several years to establish such a connection.

Female Nymphs are the only race that can successfully mate with other races without having the risk of creating hybrids. Children that come forth from these interracial relationships are always full blood nymphs but sometimes have slight traits hinting towards their interracial heritage. Male Nymphs can't fertilize females from other races.

There are currently more female nymphs than male nymphs. Many theories have been conceived about this. Most scholars believe that the male nymph is slowly becoming biologically obsolete.

Diet

Nymphs have a fairly standard omnivore diet.
