The difference between wild halflings and normal halflings is that wild halfling still live in tribes instead of being citizens of a state or kingdom. These tribes migrated from the hills of Midgard into the wild forests or mountains of Midgard or into the neighbouring wild patches of land outside Midgard. Like the desert, jungle, plains or swamp regions contested over by Asgardian and Utgardian armies. Some of these tribes have actively joined either side of the war and frequently skirmishes with convoys or armies from the opposing side.
Halflings still tend to stick close to hills.
Wild halflings are tribes of gatherers like the halflings of old. They have ingenious portable gardens an their teeth are more dull and flat than the teeth of the average Midgardian halfling, better fitting to chewing vegetables and plants, rarely eating meat. They are also being reduced in numbers and get increasingly more rare.
